PCC’s Front Door Redesign Process
Under the guidance of Dr. Robert H. Bell, Assistant Superintendent/Executive Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Cynthia Olivo Associate Dean of Counseling and Student Success Services led a team from across the campus to address the EMP goal of improving the enrollment process. Specifically, the challenge was to transform SLS personnel from specialists to generalists so that all would be equipped to help students succeed and persist. The “front door” redesign effort began on July 25, 2012 and paused in December 2012 for the implementation of LancerPoint.
